This Privacy Policy explains how QArtCode LLC ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects the information of our users ("you") when you use our website, qartcode.com (the "Service"), which is a platform for creating custom QR codes based on uploaded photos.

1. Information We Collect

We collect and process the following types of information:

A. Information Collected via Google OAuth

To facilitate easy and secure sign-in, we use Google as a third-party service provider. When you choose to sign in using Google OAuth, we collect the following information from your Google account:

• Google User ID: A unique identifier that allows us to associate you with your account on our Service.
• Name: To personalize your experience.
• Email Address: To communicate with you regarding your account, orders, and the Service.
• Profile Picture URL (Optional): If provided by Google, this may be used to personalize your account profile.

We do not collect or store your Google password.

B. User-Uploaded Content (Photos)

The core functionality of our Service involves the creation of custom QR codes from photos you upload.

• Uploaded Photos: We collect and store the photos you upload to the Service solely for the purpose of creating your custom QR codes and fulfilling your orders.
• QR Code Data: We store the resulting QR code images and the data they encode (e.g., links, text).

C. Order and Transaction Data

If you place an order for a physical product or service (e.g., printing), we collect:

• Payment Details: This information is processed securely by our third-party payment processor (e.g., Stripe, PayPal). We do not store full credit card numbers on our servers.
• Shipping/Billing Address: For fulfilling physical orders.

2. Cookies and Advertising

We use cookies to understand which advertisement or link brought you to qartcode.com. Two of these are set by us. The first records the campaign you originally arrived from and is never shared. The second records an identifier that Meta adds to the link when you click one of our advertisements, and that identifier is sent to Meta if you buy something, so that Meta can tell us the advertisement worked. Neither cookie contains your name, your email address, or anything you typed.

We also use the Meta pixel, a service provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. It sets its own cookie and reports page views to Meta. When you complete a purchase, we send Meta a record of that purchase, including the amount and a one-way encrypted (hashed) form of your email address. The hash lets Meta recognise a customer who already uses that address with them; it does not let Meta read your address from us. We do not send Meta your name, your phone number, your postal address, or your photos.

We do this to measure whether our advertising works. Blocking third-party cookies or scripts stops the Meta pixel, but it does not stop the purchase record described above: that is sent from our servers rather than from your browser, so it does not depend on anything your browser allows. If you would rather we did not send it, reach us at support@qartcode.com and we will delete your advertising identifiers and stop reporting your purchases. None of this affects your ability to use qartcode.com, to place an order, or to receive anything you have paid for.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To Provide and Maintain the Service: To create your account, enable you to sign in, and allow you to create custom QR codes.
• To Fulfill Orders: To process and ship any physical products you order.
• To Communicate with You: To send transactional emails, respond to your inquiries, and provide customer support.
• To Improve the Service: To understand how our users interact with the Service and to make improvements.
• Security: To protect the security and integrity of our Service and your data.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will NOT share your personal data or user-uploaded photos with third parties, except in the limited circumstances described below:

A. Sharing of Uploaded Photos (Strictly User-Authorized)

• Your uploaded photos will NOT be shared with other users or the public.
• Third-Party Printers/Vendors: If you authorize us to print your custom QR code or photo onto a physical product (e.g., canvas, sticker), we will share your relevant photo, QR code, and shipping information with the necessary third-party vendor (such as a printing service) only to the extent necessary to fulfill your specific, authorized order.

B. Service Providers

We may share information (excluding your photos unless necessary for a fulfilled order) with third-party vendors and service providers who perform services on our behalf, such as:

• Hosting and data storage.
• Payment processing.
• Email delivery.
• Advertising measurement, as described in Cookies and Advertising above.

C. Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to:

• Comply with a legal obligation.
• Protect and defend the rights or property of QArtCode LLC.
• Prevent or investigate possible wrongdoing in connection with the Service.

5. Data Security

We implement reasonable physical, technical, and administrative measures designed to protect your information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with the Service. Photo Collections that have not been used regularly will expire; at that point, the associated uploaded photos will be deleted. You can manually trigger this process. If you close your account, we will delete your personal information and uploaded photos within a reasonable timeframe, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law (e.g., for financial records).

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction: Request that we correct any inaccurate personal data.
• Deletion: Request that we delete your personal data and uploaded photos.
• Account Closure: You can close your account at any time.

8. Children's Privacy
