What is a QArtCode?

A QArtCode is a high-resolution, artistic QR code. From a distance, it scans just like a regular QR code, allowing viewers to visit a URL, join your WiFi Network or add your Contact Information. Up close, it resolves into a detailed image, creating an engaging visual experience—especially when it's made from your own photos.

Who might use these?

QArtCodes are perfect for anyone looking to blend function and personality. For example:

• A grandmother shares her WiFi network with guests through beautiful wall art made from pictures of her grandchildren.

How do I make one?

First, sign up using the button in the top-right corner; you can use a Facebook login, a Google login, or your email. After signing in, the home page (qartcode.com) becomes your QArtCode design tool.

The images to make a QArtCode are contained in a Collection. If you want something ready-made, we offer curated collections—professionally composed sets you can use right away.

If you want something more personal, make a collection from your own photos. Check out our Creation Guide for an introduction to this process. With your collection, you can preview the QArtCode image at any point—even before the collection is complete. Keep refining the collection until you're happy with the results.
